Project Overview
As the company scaled its sales organization from approximately 15 to 70 representatives, the existing approach to prospecting, messaging, and market targeting needed to evolve with it. Rapid headcount growth created a risk that individual reps would interpret the company’s positioning differently, pursue inconsistent customer profiles, or rely on ad hoc messaging that weakened the brand and reduced the repeatability of the sales motion.
I created and maintained the company’s first centralized sales and account-based marketing playbooks to establish a common go-to-market framework across the growing revenue organization. The initiative translated marketing strategy into practical guidance sales representatives could use every day, connecting ideal customer profiles, target-market prioritization, brand positioning, messaging, and prospecting scripts into a repeatable system.
The goal was not simply to document a sales process. It was to create the strategic infrastructure required to scale the sales organization while preserving brand and messaging fidelity across every customer interaction.
Project Scope
Ideal Customer Profiles & Target Markets — Developed and documented ICPs that defined the customer segments, company characteristics, buyer profiles, and use cases most aligned with the product. These frameworks gave representatives a clearer understanding of who to pursue and helped focus prospecting efforts around higher-priority accounts and market segments.
Account-Based Marketing Frameworks — Created playbooks that connected target-account strategy with relevant messaging, personas, and outreach approaches. This gave sales representatives a more structured way to tailor conversations while keeping outreach aligned with the broader marketing and go-to-market strategy.
Messaging & Positioning — Translated company positioning into clear value propositions, messaging pillars, customer pain points, and product narratives that could be consistently applied across prospecting and sales conversations.
Sales Scripting — Developed practical talk tracks, prospecting language, objection-handling guidance, and outreach frameworks that helped representatives turn strategic messaging into repeatable customer conversations without relying on individually created scripts.
Sales Enablement & Rep Onboarding — Structured the playbooks so they could serve both existing representatives and new hires, creating a centralized source of truth for understanding target customers, company positioning, messaging standards, and recommended sales motions.
Brand & Message Governance — Maintained and refined the playbooks as the organization, products, and target markets evolved, helping ensure that rapid sales-team expansion did not lead to fragmented positioning or inconsistent representations of the brand.
Marketing-to-Sales Alignment — Established a stronger operating connection between marketing strategy and frontline sales execution by converting customer research, market segmentation, positioning, and campaign strategy into resources representatives could directly apply in prospecting and customer conversations.

- Improved brand and messaging fidelity across a rapidly expanding sales organization by giving representatives standardized narratives and talk tracks while preserving flexibility for account-specific conversations.
- Created a more repeatable sales onboarding and enablement foundation, reducing reliance on tribal knowledge and individually developed approaches as new representatives joined the organization.
- Strengthened marketing and sales alignment by translating high-level GTM strategy into practical resources that could be used directly in day-to-day prospecting and customer engagement.
- Built durable go-to-market infrastructure that could be continuously updated as products, customer segments, competitive dynamics, and organizational priorities evolved.
